An aerial photograph taken in 1946 shows the indistinct shape of a hexagonal pillbox, with an anti-aircraft well on its NW face, on a corner of the sea wall at this point. <1> An aerial photograph taken in 1948 shows its demolished remains. <2> This corner no longer exists as land reclamation has altered the path of the sea wall.
