Full description
In 1262 an extent of Standon manor records c.625 acres of (mainly arable) land and included two fisheries, a park of about 2 leagues in circumference, and a fruit and herb garden, which has been tentatively identified with ‘Balsoms Park’, a field to the east of the Lordship <1>.
