Full description
Hexagonal brick and concrete pillbox (Type FW3/24 <1>) on immediate N side of The Ridgeway. There is a short double line of eight concrete anti-tank cubes (3'6" type <1>) some 75m to the E on the opposite side of the road. In the woods, 100m to the W, is a 10' square brick and concrete auxiliary shelter, possibly a command post, half buried in the ground. It has no loopholes and has a 6' door opening on its S corner <2>.
Remains as described above, November 2001 <3>.
