Full description
Octagonal concrete pillbox (Type 27<1>) on S side of wide valley sited to form part of the Outer London defence chain; 250 yards west of Park Lane Paradise. Although in a dominant position to guard approaches from the N the pillbox inexplicably faces W allowing the entrance/exit to be enfiladed by enemy fire. The site is completely clear and the pillbox is easily accessible <2>.
