Palaeolithic flint implements listed as: four Acheulian handaxes, Hitchin Museum (Acc 68, 71, 75, 76); two handaxes, Hitchin Museum (Acc 74, 82); twenty nine flint scrapers, BM (Acc 1915 12-8 233-261); six flint implements, BM (Acc 1915 86 6-21 1-6) <1>.
The NGR is that of the larger of two gravel pits in this area.
