Full description
Road bridge carrying Hawkshead Lane over the railway. Built in 1850 of brick. Skew, 3 arches with stone abutments, the middle arch spans 2 tracks, the outer ones 1 track each. Width c.6.3m, brick parapet with stone coping & wooden fence. <1>. Has been largely rebuilt. The piers remain but the remainder has been rebuilt with a concrete girder and metal parapet <2>.
