Full description

The settlement lies by the Icknield Way. Earthworks of banks and ditches lie within a field named The Bury to the south and east of Toot Hill [32] <1>. These are probably the remains of one or more baileys, and shrunken village earthworks represented by hollow ways and house platforms <2, 3>.
