Description:- The Roman period is represented only by a few coarse sherds of the late C3rd/early C4th, and one of Hadrianic samian, a coin of the C2nd and a white tessera. The only features which may be of this date are a ditch or beam-slot and a ditch; the sherd of samian came from the ditch and the coin was on its S edge. |
