A Second World War Allan Williams turret was recorded in this location. It would have defended the northern approach to RAF Grantham/Spittlegate. No trace of the structure can now be discerned in this area on the Google Maps aerial photographic layer, however, and the turret may have been removed. {1}{2}{3}
