Parts of the foundation courses of the church were revealed in January 2018, during archaeological monitoring of the installation of new toilets. The groundworks revealed several courses of stone, roughly dressed to the north aisle and north aisle buttress, and ashlar to the tower and tower buttress. Probably late 18th century brick repair works to the north aisle buttress were also identified. {7}{8}
