Two large mounds lie one on each side of the Horbling-Billingborough Road. There is no tradition about them and it seems not impossible that they are butt mounds. Both mounds carry clumps of elms (1964). Detail shown but not named on O.S. 25inch map of 1887. Not shown on OS 1824 map. {1}{2}
The mounds are grass covered. Without excavation classification not possible. {1}
