CROPMARKS OF ASLACKBY DECOY, ASLACKBY FEN. THE DECOY APPEARS TO CONSIST OF AN OCTAGONAL DOUBLE-DITCHED ENCLOSURE AROUND A STAR-SHAPED POND WITH EIGHT PIPES CURVING FROM THE ANGLES. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}, LENGTH 150M, WIDTH 130M, HTM 3M
The buried remains of the cropmark decoy (SAM 31614) is the only surviving one of five formerly located on adjacent fens lying within a radius of 1km to 2km, during the nineteenth century. {6}
