Full description

An Early English and Decorated church, with a late Norman font. The chancel was restored in 1884. The inverted base of the churchyard cross stands near the south door. It is known as a tithe stone, having in the past been used as a counter for the payment of the tithe.{1}{2}{3}
The church was in normal use in 1964. At this time, the cross base was broken but not inverted. {4}{5}
A parish church with features dating from the 13th century, c.1300, the 14th and 16th century. It underwent restoration by James Fowler in 1884.
