PRN 40577 (includes former PRN40612 which has been deleted).
Possible round barrow, 24 paces across and 6 feet high. This feature has been levelled and its site is now occupied by an airfield runway.{1}{2}
An excavation of the barrow was carried out by Mrs A. Grimes for the Ministry of Works prior to the construction of Ludford Magna RAF airfield in 1942. The barrow was levelled during the building of the airfield. {5}{6}{7}{8}
