SITE OF THE CHURCH OF ST GEORGE, DEMOLISHED IN 1971. {1} WHEN STANDING IT HAD A PERPENDICULAR W TOWER AND AN EARLY ENGLISH ARCADE OF N AISLE AND CHAPEL. THE MAIN BODY OF THE CHURCH WAS REBUILT IN BRICK IN 1847. {2}{3}, HTM 7M
