Full description

The Church of St John the Baptist has impressive Norman [1066 to 1200] three-bay arcades on the south and the north and a Perpendicular [1180 to c.1520] west tower, Perpendicular clerestory and nave roof with bosses. The church was restored by C. H. Fowler in 1904, according to his obituary, but W. D. Caroe also did restoration work in 1902 to 1903.
