TWO SMALL SECTIONS OF ROUGH STONE WALLS OR FOUNDATIONS WERE RECORDED DURING ARCHAEOLOGICAL RECORDING OF A WATERMAIN RELAY. THEY WERE INTERPRETED AS BEING ROMAN, THE EASTERNMOST PERHAPS REPRESENTING PART OF A STRUCTURE TO THE EAST OF ERMINE STREET. {1}
