The Manor at South Kyme was built in the early eighteenth century to replace the previous manor which was demolished in 1720-25. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and brick, with tile and pantile roofs. The remains of formal gardens, which are thought to have been laid out at the time of its construction, are located close to the Manor (see 62523). The land beneath the Manor is included in the scheduling. {2}

The Manor (Manor House), South Kyme. Extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. {3}
