Full description

Grade I listed ruined building and adjoining section of Close wall, dating from the late 13th century and altered in the late 14th century. It perhaps incorporates part of the late 2nd century Colonia wall. The wall is dressed stone and ashlar. The building is a roofless ruined building which has to the south a roll moulded depressed ogee headed doorway with rosettes and a 19th century plank door.
