1) Existence of castle in Newport Pagnell not established by field perambulation & local enquiry. OS site at NGR, on gentle E-facing slope, within cemetery. No finds (b7).
2) Only clues respecting the castle - the name "castle mead" & its evident site on that part of the hill where present Church stands (b3).
