Full description
The published siting symbol was not confirmed. This part of the enclosed area is grass covered and hummocky. Some of these disturbances, in conjunction with the remains of fishponds, can probably be ascribed to landscape gardening. Others are suggestive of concealed foundations. (1)
Morph: Medieval fishpond 102.1.2. (2)
To the east are a series of sub-rectangular anomalies which are interpreted as fish ponds (R6, R&, R11 and R12). There is evidence of the ponds being linked together notably at the south eastern ends of R7 and R11, and possibly at the north western end of R11 and R12. (3)
