Full description

In the NE corner of the field are a number of small depressions, a rectangle 8m x 9m and S of this another 18m x 21m with 2 raised tongues of land projecting into it. S of this a rectangle 25m x 14m appears to be deeper because it is cut into the sloping ground, but the bottom is at about the same level as the other 2.
These are possibly a set of ponds fed by a stream flowing along the edge of the Green. They are now too shallow to collect water from here. (1)
