Full description
Feature 'H': A now breached causeway across the minor valley bottom up to 2m in height and 13m in width. It is unclear whether it simply formed a causeway across the valley or if it also acted as a pond dam. On the W side of the dam a narrow earthwork channel has left a small earthen mound 16x6m in plan isolated and cut by a former stream scarp on its N side. Below the causeway (H) could provide a suitable site for a mill. The oval mound below the pond could provide a location with a leat along the S side. (1)
