CASTLE PROBABLY DISMANTLED BY HENRY II. IT CERTAINLY CONSISTED OF A MOTTE AND A BAILEY. BOTH ARE NOW MUTILATED DUE TO A BISHOPS PALACE CONSTRUCTED ON THE SITE; AND BY A RECENT CEMETERY. Form: Earthwork (1)(2)
