THIS OCCUPIES AN EW SPUR OF LAND S OF ACKLAM VILLAGE. OS REFERS TO STONE STRUCTURES THOUGH NO MENTION OF THESE OCCURS IN RCHM DOCUMENT. The Motte HAS A SLIGHTLY HOLLOWED TOP AND IS ENCIRCLED BY A DITCH WHICH IS up to 7.6M WIDE AND 0.3M DEEP. (1)(2)
