Full description

The Castle WAS BUILT IN THE LATTER PART OF THE 13TH CENTURY AND PROBABLY HAD FOUR CORNER TOWERS, OF WHICH ONE REMAINS. IT WAS BURNT IN 1568 AND REPAIRED IN 1653-4. THE HOUSE WAS THOROUGHLY RESTORED IN 1875. Form: Extant Structure (11/1972) (1 - 4)
