Full description

THIS MOUND HAS TRACES OF AN ENCIRCLING DITCH WITH POSSIBLE TRACES OF A BREASTWORK. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF BUILDINGS ON ITS SUMMIT NOR OF A BAILEY. IT IS POSSIBLY A SEIGEWORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE NORTHERN REBELLION OF THE LATER 12TH CENTURY.
