ALLEGED SITE OF ROMAN CAMP/STATION WITH FOUNDATIONS & POTTERY REPORTED TO BE FOUND. O.S. RECORD NO VISIBLE EVIDENCE OF ANY FORMER EARTHWORK HERE & THAT REPORTED FINDS OF POTTERY HAVE NEVER BEEN SUBSTANTIATED. CONCLUDE THAT ANY ROMAN ASSOCIATION WITH THE SITE APPEARS MORE TRADITIONAL THAN FACT. Form: Documentary Source (1 - 4)
