    Wayside cross. Medieval. Limestone. The stump of an octagonal shaft with run-out stops rises from a square base.

    (2) One of two crosses shown on earlier maps. One stood at junction of old village street with way to the castle (now the bend in School Lane). The other is suggested by the field name 'Headless Cross Furlong' referred to in Glebe Terriers
