A two-celled garderobe was found adjacent to external wall of building 4112.

Description

A garderobe was found adjacent to external wall of building 4112. It comprised of a square two-celled structure. Masonry walls truncated by robbing so any bonding courses joining it to the building had gone. Pit lined with masonry, flat-based 4.8 x 3 x 1.8m, 3 vertical sides, 1 ramp for raking out into cesspit <1>.
