A broad hollow way approx. 2m deep probably the remains of the road or track indicated as running between Llanymynech road and the Kinnerley road on the 1766 Barker and Dutton map. <1>

Probably marks the line of a backlane running behind the properties on the south side of the village's main street. <2>
