Above ground storeys demolished prior to 1972 listing. C18th red brick, 2 storeys, 3+1 sash windows. Moulded wood doorcase with open pediment, coping. Massive staircase. Partly built over ancient square tower. Double gates in archways of wood with swept top and wrought iron cresting <0>
Excavated by Jenks, Toms and Carver in 1971-74 - now lower floors of McDonalds <0>
