Description

Large Roman building destroyed along one edge of Housing development. In the centre extensive areas of Flavian-Trajanic industrial development observed <1>

Part of Roman building and Roman coins and pottery found in garden of 3, Roman Way, Whitchurch <2><3><4>

An evaluation in 1989 at SJ540 418 to the north showed that no Roman deposits or structures had survived there. It appeared the site had been partially levelled for the construction of the factory that had until recently occupied the site. <5>
