Summary

Description
A ditch -type anomaly was recorded in resistivity and GPR survey across this area by GSB Prospection. This was subsequently excavated by Time Team in 2000 and interpreted as the inner bailey ditch. <1>
This feature was 'proved to be the inner bailey ditch' according to <1>. The Time Team excavation report has not, to date, been received by the HER so this remains difficult to verify. <2>
