Summary
A T-shaped house with one cruck blade remaining. A good range of C19 farm buildings with a structure built into the side of an old motte. It seems too large for an ice house although it could have supplied a large household - could potentially be associated with wine making.

A T-shaped house with one cruck blade remaining. It includes a good range of C19 farm buildings with a structure built into the side of an old motte. It seems too large for an ice house although it could have supplied a large household. Could it have been connected with wine-making? There was a short-lived attempt by the estate at growing a vineyard. Photograph of ?wine store.<2>
