Description
An area of formal gardens is identified on an undated plan held by Shropshire Archives, probably dating to the 17th century, possibly developed using the footprint of the Benedictine Priory cloister. ->
-> Magnetic survey was carried out in this area in 2014, but failed to locate any features which could possibly be related. It is suggested that these gardens may have replaced formal gardens adjacent to the moated site of Bromfield Grange to the west (PRN 31374). <1>
