Description

Two platformed station, just W of the level crossing N of the village; main building was a small brick bungalow on S platform. <1>

Shown on 2nd edition Ordnance Survey 1:;2500 map. Shows main station building to west of level crossing with Station House just to east. A signal point is further to the east. <2>

Photographs taken 8th November 2017. By this time the house was converted to residential use. The railway line had been reduced to single line working which did not seem to be overly used as it only went as far as the Freight Terminal approximately half a mile to the east. <3>
