Description
Statement of significance prepared in a Conservation Management Plan for Cambrian Railways in 2005. Of regional significance as a surviving system for distributing coal from a railway goods yard…The feature is also of considerable industrial archaeology interest, consisting of a rail and road hopper system feeding into a conveyor capable of rotating on a semi-circular track to enable coal to be deposited on one of a series of hoppers, to feed road vehicles. Occupies the site of the former Gobowen station goods yard. <1>
