Description
A serious collapse of soil below the Royal Shrewsbury Infirmary in 1958 'brought to light a fine stretch of town walls', said Lilly Chitty <1>
Part of the same stretch was observed by H E Forrest in the late 30s; see PRN 62274. The fabric and precise position of this 1958 sighting are not recorded (but newspaper accounts for the period have not been searched). Point position is notional. <2>
