Description
Pair of Jacobean carved oak gates at the entrance to the yard behind the Bank. They were removed from St Alkmund's ..(SA 906) when it collapsed in 1711. They were erected in the yard of the house which formerly stood on the site of the National Westminster Bank, and were removed to their present position on the street front when the bank was built before the 2nd World War <1b><1c>
