Description

C13 Stone rubble. One of the entrance-gate towers of the priory, a tall rectangular plain structure <1>.
A rectangular stone tower of limestone with sandstone door and window jambs. Three storeys high, with door at ground level on the north side and two slit windows above. Originally at west end of a building running eastwards, the gable of which is visible in the East wall of the tower. A ? later doorway opens into the roof of this building from 1st floor of the tower <2>
