Description
Moat. Occupied, irregular oval. Adjoins S side of churchyard. Circa 90m NE-SW, 80m transversely, 12m wide. (Outer 'moat' is series of drainage ditches.)
2003: Moat desilting monitored.
May 2004: Evaluation in advance of barn conversion. Two test pits through floors, only redeposited clay and base of chalk floor revealed (S1).
