Full description
SOU 627 Trench 2 (evaluation excavation at the Old SEB Depot in Back of the Walls in 1994):
[1]: Various undated "early" deposits were found along the western edge of this site. Finds were not recovered from these layers.
IP 9/1/03: These layers are not discussed in the conclusion of [1]. Some other layers found in the trench are thought to have been part of the town rampart (see separate record), but the layers referred to on this record could be earlier.
