Summary

Cellars of an early 17th building were found in the gardens of the late 16th century Parlaunt Park Farm.

Description

A description by Lady Hertford in 1741 enabled investigators in 1846 to locate early 17th century cellars. A second building within the moat is the farmhouse a two-storeyed, timber framed brick house of L-shaped plan and probably of late 16th century date <1>.
