Summary
A listed house of circa 1461, extensively remodelled in late 17th and 18th centuries and again in circa 1814. The house is of brick construction with some dressed stone to the basement and front angle, a tiled roof of complex form and brick chimney stacks. Although much altered, this is one of the original houses of The Close. The attached garden wall and gatepier are included within the listing.
