Full description
Part of an extensive area of former water meadow to the north-west of Great Haywood. This part of the meadow was identified from aerial photography and historic mapping to survive in reasonably good condition, although a field inspection indicated differing levels of preservation across this area. The extent of watermeadow is visible on aerial photography from 1941. (SB, 12-May-2021) <3>
