THOSE TO W MAY RELATE TO PRIORY (ALTHOUGH MOST LIKELY LOCATION FOR THE MAJORITY OF PRIORY BUILDINGS IS TO S OF CHURCH), & THOSE DOWNSLOPE MAY RELATE TO SETTLEMENT PRIOR TO C13 BOROUGH. <1> <2>
