Summary
A listed gatehouse of 14th century date, with early 18th century alterations. The gatehouse is of timber frame construction, although the structure has been refaced and the timber framing partly replaced in brick and stone. The building is recorded to have formed one side of a quadrangular building which was still in existence in the 1660's.
