Landscape Park: A landscape park on the site of the former Tixall Hall. <1> <2>
The area of parkland has not been built over. <3>
Thomas Clifford of Tixall Hall asked Capability Brown to produce plans for alterations to the house and grounds in 1773. Clifford decided, however, that he would build a completely new house and the extent of Brown's involvement in this is unclear. (SB, 07-Nov-2006) <4>
