RINGWORK: BOAT SHAPED EARTHWORK ON TOP OF HILL BY BADGER SLADE. EXTERNAL DITCH, INTERNAL BANK MORE OBVIOUS AT WEST END. GIVEN AS 'OLD ENCAMPMENT' ON PLAN OF 1754. <1>
EVALUATION OF 1997 FAILED TO FIND INTERNAL FEATURES. SO POSSIBLY IT WAS SOME KIND OF LIVESTOCK (DEER?) CORAL. <1>
